Introducing Remote Energy’s newest DC air conditioning solution in our anti-idle range; the iON-DRIVE DC-iX. Engineered specifically for haul trucks that often have excessive idle times, the iON-DRIVE DC-iX is a compact DC air conditioning compressor system, paired with a specialised lithium-ion battery that integrates directly into the OEM system. The iON-DRIVE DC-iX system is designed to operate in tough work environments.

Its small form factor and highly efficient operation, make it an ideal solution for haul trucks across the globe. Designed to integrate seamlessly into the existing OEM air conditioning system to create a dual compressor system and powered by a designed for purpose, Lithium Ion Phosphate battery, the iON-DRIVE DC-iX system will provide years of trouble free anti idle benefits.

The iON-DRIVE DC-iX can operate continuously for up to 30 minutes*. Battery charging is undertaken by the haul truck’s main battery bank, via a specialised DC to DC charging interface to the lithium battery.

The iON-DRIVE DC-iX is a truly independent, 100% diesel offset, anti idle solution for mining haul trucks.

Installation
The iON-DRIVE DC-iX unit is generally bolted underneath or near the cab and integrated into the existing OEM air conditioning system, functioning as an in-line dual HVAC compressor system. It uses the existing in cab OEM air conditioning controls along with applied logic on when to start and stop based on the sites preferences.
